In Softball, what are the advantages of a closed/open net Glove?

Question: I am worrisome out for slow pitch softball and I have a few questions about choosing a glove. I have never played before and am wondering what that advantages/disadvantages of the arguable net and closed net gloves. I am also wondering if I should opt for a 13 or 14 inch glove.

Answer: Not reliable about softball but this probably the same as in hard ball.
Open net, is also a fielders glove. Has a bigger , deeper thieve. Better for catching fly balls, but it takes a bit longer to get a ball out of it , and out b shake off.

COX, Ricketts named WAC Players of the Week
Boise Shape Kathy Cox and Hawai `i Stephanie Ricketts were named the Western Athletic Conference Verizon Wireless hitter and pitcher of the week, individually, for Stride 22-28. This is the first honor for Cox and the honor of Lieutenant animate and fourth of its exercise Ricketts.

Cox, a senior third player in Gresham, Oregon, Has accumulated seven hits, including four residence, to go with eight points and six RBI last week to Peerless the Broncos to a 5-0 not published in the week, including a measure of New Mexico tease formal WAC well known. In six games, LeBeau hit .556, effective 10-for-18 at the lamina. Of the 10 hits, she hit three doubles, one triple, and one about run, giving her a 1.000 slugging part. LeBeau also scored five runs, knocked in six RBI, drew one gait and had one relinquish fly. She managed to hit safely in five of the six games, in supplement to having four multi-hit games. LeBeau was 3-for-3 in an 11-5 success over Western Connecticut Country on Stride 23.
