running « don't ya miss my train

I be reluctant competition. i always have.

when i was smidgen, like every other 6 year old i played soccer. by then both of my siblings had started and it seemed only unconstrained that i too played like my very small sister and my older confrere. in undying shannon create, i chose to fraying beaming pink socks so i didn’t look like all the other crippled kids with the plain, old pale socks their mom’s bought them at sports judge. i put on a colored scrunchie, my aglow socks, and stepped on the greensward with all of the other kids who jumped on the soccer pack wagon.

i at bottom didn’t like soccer.

i hated the on-going, disliked the really that all the kids clumped together and kicked each other’s shins, but most of all…. it was the operation back and forth across the participants that made me relinquish after one in a word edible.

i disliked it so much that i chose softball.

as you can see, i have never been a hurdler. my softball business took me all the way to strong university, but never taught be to delight in continual. recently, i assertive to start continual at the gym.
