If your fancy of the diamond life means baseball, you're in luck.

New Baltimore Parks and Distraction is now signing up youngsters for baseball.

The T-Ball division, for ages 5-6, costs $40 and includes a shirt and hat. Pitching Make, for ages 7-8; Player Pitch-Nationals, ages 9-10; Musician Pitch-Majors, ages 11-12; and Player Pitch-Seniors, for ages 13-15, all rate $60 apiece and each includes shirt, pants, hat and socks. (Age is as of May 1, 2012.)

Sign up at the New Baltimore Enjoyment Center from 8 a.m.-noon and 3-9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Registration ends Pace 9. When you register, be sure to bring a copy of your child's family certificate.

If the child played in the league in 2011, he may register online so lengthy as his information is on file at the Recreation Department. To register online, come to see www.newbaltimorerecreation.com and click on the "baseball" tab. You must also call the department at 586-725-0291 to verify your child's observations is on file to complete the process.
