Aluminum and Composite Softball Bats

Aluminum and composite softball bats have entranced over fastpitch softball. I cannot reminisce over ever seeing a wood softball bat in all of my years coaching.

Aluminum bats were the yardstick for many years and a favorite of the players. The "gap of the bat" was in the twinkling of an eye replaced with a ping.
