MIDDLETON — You wouldn't buy a car without delightful it for a test drive.
By the same token, you shouldn't buy a baseball bat without taking a few swings in the cage.
This week at Added Innings' baseball training facility in Middleton, manufacturers from all over the country took part in a demo endlessly designed to show off their new hardware. Baseball players from around the area could take a few swings with sticks from each of the companies to see what they liked and what felt self-satisfied.
The demonstrations are quite important for this year because high school baseball is adopting the BBCOR exemplar for composite bat testing.
"This is really exciting," said Rob Nash, who founded Accessory Innings along with Joe Luis in 1996. The pair have grown their business to 40 franchises in 19 states and a issue of the vendors on hand last night had done demo nights up and down the East glide.
