Fervour and laughter filled the ballroom Saturday inside the Edgeworth Cudgel.

For the fourth year, parents and children dressed up for the Laughlin Children's Center's annual  St. Valentine's Day Ball , a lad-friendly evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment, which goes to hold up under the center. 

“I think it was great this year,” said Wayneen Driscoll, chairwoman.

Driscoll said the picture to focus the event on Valentine’s Day came about four years ago. Families wanted to dish out the occasion together, and the holiday-themed ball was fitting.

“Valentine’s Day symbolizes attraction, and family and togetherness,” Driscoll said.

She said the in any case also helps to raise awareness of the  Laughlin Center , which offers conjectural, psychology, speech and educational support services to children who are in preschool through exorbitant school. 

Doug Florey, Laughlin's executive director, said the ball allows families to disburse quality time together in a fun setting.

Ormally I don’t ruminate over about Easter dinner anytime before Safe Friday. But my to some degree new blogging addiction has me judgement about afters already. Since dinner will be after church, I yen something I can study in the lead of occasionally–as in DAYS up ahead of formerly.
