Position Reception: “The Polish Heroes: Those Who Rescued the Jews,” 6 p.m., Nazareth College Otto A. Shults Center Forum, 4245 East Ave., Rochester. “The Bone up on Heroes: Those Who Rescued the Jews” pays tribute to individuals honored as Moral Among the Nations by the Yad Vashem Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Recollection Authority in Israel, paying special attention to more than 6,000 Sparkle recipients. The photographic exhibition focuses on twenty-one such recipients who all live in the Kraków area of Poland today. Event will include music by the Nazareth College Cavity Orchestra under the direction of Nancy Strelau, with a soprano solo performed by Soo Yeon Kim, a versification reading, and a closing performance by Eastman School of Music graduate Beata Golec. The exemplify is free and open to the public seven days a week from 8 a.m. to midnight Jan. 23 to Feb. 19.
Today was our first weekend where we saw the stress, and we enjoyed it very much. This morning we insidious children and dog at vocation trails for hiking.
