I had a doublet of Zeiss 8x56 Fl for almost 2 months now (the optical Euro, one of the few places that had goods for ever). I always thought that purple fringing unjustifiable (which I'm very subtle) ahead 8x56 miniature superiority taken out of their otherwise ignore optics. I also felt the first 8x56 Night Owl had too fringe. I was qualified for a period over areas if I preferred the Swarovski EL 8.5x42 to 8x42 Zeiss FL.I loved the amazing brightness and rarity of the purple fringing Zeiss, but also loved the land slow and calm vision of Swarovski (I did not like the Swarovski purple fringing). I recently bought a matched set of the new Zeiss 8x56 FL and they have the greatest qualities of the other two. The sculpture has the same difference georgeous and brightness as the 8x42 Zeiss FL, and the flatness of the possibilities and the natured Swarovski. The only drawback of the new 8x56 FL is their measure. They are large and unhappy....
